Q: Why the name change from Rafa to Faeble & Sage?

A: The name "Rafa" came from the Hebrew language, though spelled "Rapha", I just changed the spelling. The rough translation I believed to be "healing" or "to heal" played a significant role in my life for about 10 years. My family and I went through multiple familial hardships in the years prior to forming this business, thus emotional healing from those events was an important goal for myself. I believe that I have achieved that emotional healing, so now we're onto the next leveling-up!

Q: Do you make all these thingy-ma-bobbers?

A: I do! I wear all the hats at Faeble & Sage; Production, Ordering, Shipping, Social Media, Label Design, Website Management (or lack of), Marketing, and anything else that needs doing. I also have a full-time job and a child, so sometimes my timeframe is longer than ideal.

Q: Do you teach classes?

A: This is absolutely something I want to do more of! If you are interested in candle-making for a birthday party, friends' night, bachelorette party please send me an email and we'll see if we can make your event a go!

Q: What ingredients go into your candles?

A: Wax - Custom blend of Soy and Coconut waxes

    Fragrance - I strictly use fragrances without phlalates, also no materials that are on the California Prop 65 list  of carcinogenic materials. I want my house free from these while making the candles, just as I want your house free from them too.

   Wicks - The wicks I use are cotton with paper filaments. Absolutely no metal cores.
